Join us for an evening of improv comedy and jazz improv you won’t forget. First, see two veteran improvisers (Mikala Bierma, Julia Weiss and Nora Neisen) explore the funniest parts of having a job with “Your Co-Worker’s Improv Show.” Then watch jazz musicians (Nancy and Jim Bierma Matt French) bring the house down in the second act. Mikala, Julia, and Nora will make-up funny songs and lyrics on the spot with Nancy and Jim creating live jazz accompaniment. Oh yea, and did mention they are part of the same family? Fun, guaranteed!

Mikala Bierma and Julia Weiss are comedians known for their engaging performance performances and engaging work. They have performed at Chicago’s Second City and New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade. Nancy Bierma has performed with jazz groups around the Midwest and is in the Iowa Jazz Hall of Fame. Matt French is a vocalist and guitarist whose performances blend classic songcraft with a modern, soulful sensibility.
