Maud Hixson, vocals
Dan Chouinard, piano

Maud Hixson is a Bistro Award-winning jazz singer and cabaret artist, with eight albums ranging from Great American Songbook standards to the often unsung or forgotten gems awaiting rediscovery. Her newest recording, When Winter Comes, was released in 2025. Dan Chouinard has enjoyed four decades as a pianist and accordionist of choice, as well as writer and host of hit shows for radio, concert halls and the theatrical stage. He recorded with Maud on the album Permanent Moonlight: Songs of Sir Richard Rodney Bennett.

“Her vocal style is so warm, intimate and compelling–it’s clear that she cares about the words and telling the story, with clarity and without artifice–practically a lost art these days.” –Michael Feinstein
