The Matt McIntyre Trio plays all original music written for a custom dual output guitar/bass hybrid. The unique. instrumentation lends itself extremely well to Afro-Caribbean and Funk styles, and the original tunes explore as much of those styles as possible. Twin Cities instrumental veterans bring an altered version of the standard organ trio to life for a fresh new style.

Matt McIntyre is a veteran of the Twin Cities Funk and Theater orchestra scenes, seen regularly as a sideman on both upright bass and guitar. Recent credits include JazzMN Orchestra, Glensheen at History Theatre, Grease at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and Linda Purl at the Dunsmore Room.
