An Evening of Dynamic, Sophisticated, and Innovative Jazz
An Evening of Dynamic Jazz Band Music Concordia College’s (Moorhead, Minn.) Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Singers will perform a program of jazz standards and contemporary works. Jazz Ensemble I, led by Prof. Russell Peterson, has won awards and performed at major festivals, including the UW-Eau Claire Jazz Festival. The student-led Jazz Singers, supervised by choral manager Wyatt Steinke, have performed at ACDA conferences and host an annual campus festival. Concordia’s music program offers BA and BM degrees in disciplines including music education, performance, and composition.
