Pamela McNeill performs her original songs as well as some of her favorite covers from Janis, Stevie, Dolly, Etta and many others. She will also be sharing stories about each song and what inspired her to write or cover them. Pamela will be joined by a few of her bandmates for a stripped-back set, offering a more personal, intimate experience. Pamela promises to deliver a set that highlights the music’s intimacy.
Pamela McNeill is an accomplished American singer-songwriter and pianist from Winona, Minnesota. Her music blends pop and country influences, shaped by her upbringing in a musically diverse household. She began studying classical music at a young age and joined her first rock band at 16, performing throughout the Midwest. McNeill has written songs for artists like Wynonna Judd and contributed lyrics to Yanni’s albums Tribute and Ethnicity. She has released seven studio albums, including Solitary (2019) and Neon Lightning (2023), the latter inspired by her reconnection with piano during the pandemic. Her recent singles include “Boys Lie,” “Working It Out,” and “What My Mama Told Me”. Pamela McNeill was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2024. She performs regularly with her seven-piece band, including tribute shows like Janis, Stevie, Dolly, and Me at the 2025 Minnesota State Fair . She also performs in the widely popular shows with The Fabulous Armadillos – What’s Going On show, Rumours and Dreams – A Fleetwood Mac Show, Wild Angles show and The Rock & Roll Xmas Spectacular show.
