Anya Menk: Vocals
New to the Twin Cities, Anya Menk is a vocalist, pianist, composer, and lyricist. A recent graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute Master’s program, she specializes in jazz vocalese, reimagining solos from jazz greats with her original lyrics. Menk has performed alongside jazz luminaries such as Joe Lovano and Peter Eldridge of New York Voices, and she was named the 2025 recipient of the Dr. Dee Daniels Vocal Jazz Scholarship through Jazz Education Network. In addition to performing, Menk teaches in the EMRA Department at MacPhail and also teaches private lessons through North Star Jazz Workshops.
