Since 2015, the Apple Valley High R&B Band has been performing at many community events, city music festivals and metro area venues, including the Icehouse and the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. The band is comprised solely of students enrolled in Apple Valley High School instrumental and vocal ensembles with graduated members continuing on to study at prestigious conservatories and perform professionally. Twice the R&B Band has been selected through audition to perform at the Minnesota Music Educators Association’s Mid-Winter Clinic. This band impresses audiences wherever they play with their professionalism, upbeat song selection and top-notch musical skills.
