Bernadette Spray is a jazz singer who is making a name for herself in the Twin Cities Jazz community. With her unique style and scatting abilities, Bernadette breathes new life into the Great American Songbook. Diagnosed with autism at age 2, She discovered singing as her best way to communicate with the world around her. She has performed at the Cedar Cultural Center, Crooners Supper Club, First Avenue/7th St. Entry, and Minneapolis Depot, and at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Bernadette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Augsburg University and is a 2025 recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board grant.
