Blue Moon: the Artistry of Lorenz Hart
It’s a Blue Moon tonight! Twin Cities‘ favorites Dan Chouinard, Prudence Johnson and Dane Stauffer join to salute legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart, the subject of this year’s Oscar-nominated film Blue Moon. Expect to hear that classic song, plus My Funny Valentine, The Lady Is A Tramp, Bewitched, Where Or When, and much more from his famous collaborations with Richard Rogers and others. It’ll be a night to relish, and it only happens once in a blue moon!

A pianist and accordionist, Dan Chouinard is also a gifted story teller who blends music, interviews and storytelling for Minnesota Public Radio. Prudence Johnson is a vocalist of international acclaim whose repertoire encompasses the great American Songbook and then some. Dane Stauffer is known for his appearances in “Glensheen: The Musical” and frequent collaborations with, among others, Dan and Prudence. They are celebrating many years of musical friendship and look forward to seeing you!
