Bobby J’s West Bank Social Club

Bobby J’s West Bank Social Club brings a mix of Vocals-Driven New Orleans dance music and more, paying tribute to artists such as Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Billy Eckstine, Dr John, Leon Redbone, C.W. Stoneking, Rodrigo Amarante, Leroy Jones, Dave Bartholemew, and The Squirrel Nut Zippers; as well as intrumental works from Sydney Bechet, Al Hirt, Kenny Ball, Hugo Montenegro, and even John Williams.
The West Bank Social Club features Michael Anderson on Saxophone, Doug Hill on drums, Scott Soule on bass, Niko Senka on Guitar, Nathan Berry on trombone and Bobby J Marks on Vocals and Trumpet.
Dance music from a bygone era. A six-piece, typical New Orleans style bar band with horns, playing jazzy dance music, lounge ballads, and a little bit of mambo. Bobby J’s West Bank Social Club was born at Palmer’s Bar on the West Bank in Minneapolis.
