Kaatwalk, a Twin Cities based singer-songwriter, infuses her music with a quiet honesty. Inspired by storytellers like Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, and Joni Mitchell, Kaatwalk’s music defies genre boundaries and embraces lived experiences. Her musical style is a blend of heartfelt lyrics and a stripped-down, authentic sound. Kaatwalk just released a few singles in 2026. Most recently, she released a four song EP called, A week in June.

Opening the album release show is the incredible Adam Bohanan from The Voice! Adam Bohanan is a Black and Jewish Twin Cities based musician and songwriter who tours nationwide. His music draws from soul, jazz, funk, and R&B. His influences include: Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, and Marvin Gaye. A life-long nerd, Adam also loves to incorporate playful wordplay and nerdy references into his songwriting. His latest single “Reese’s” reflects this blend, melding sultry R&B with tongue-in-cheek humor. In 2024, he was a semifinalist on Season 26 of The Voice. On Team Reba, he was known for his “dirty soul” style and fun-loving attitude.

“KAAT GREW UP LISTENING TO BRANDI CARLILE, LADY GAGA, NO DOUBT, ADELE, ARETHA FRANKLIN, PINK, NORAH JONES, EVA CASSIDY. THAT LIST OF BADASS WOMEN IN MUSIC ARE HER HEROES AND IN LISTENING TO ‘MONSTER’, YOU CAN HEAR PIECES OF THEM. THE FIRST LINES HAVE THE ATTITUDE OF PINK, THE AUTHENTICITY OF BRANDI CARLILE, WITH THE VOCAL TONAL CONTROL OF ADELE. ADD IN THE BREATHY CHARACTERISTICS OF NORAH JONES AND PUNK SPIN OF NO DOUBT, AND KAATWALK EMBODIES THAT LIST OF BADASS INFLUENCES.” – MOJO OF MUSIC, ARTICLE BY TOM SMOUSE (MPLS, MN)
