Crooner Supper Club welcomes Minnesota Spice, a standup comedy showcase serving up a curated mix of comedic voices you won’t find on every stage in town. This show’s lineup blends the down-home charm of Emily Barrett, the clever wit of Atul Patel, the sharp and unexpected turns of Matthew Milligan, and the easygoing storytelling style of KJ The Comedian. Guests can settle into the Dunsmore Room’s lounge-like atmosphere with dinner and drinks in hand as four distinct comedic styles take the stage for one show only. Minnesota Spice is produced by Minneapolis-based Hahamasala Comedy Productions, bringing fresh, flavorful comedy to venues across the Twin Cities and the Midwest.

Emily Barrett is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian and improviser. She was a two-time finalist in the Funniest Person Contest at the Mall of America House of Comedy and regularly performs at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. Other highlights include using her dark and whimsical style of humor in equal measures when parenting her two lovely children, and working as a therapist during the day. Emily recently won the 2026 Funniest Person with A Day Job Contest at the Mall of America House of Comedy!
Atul Patel is a Minneapolis-based comic and former spelling bee champion whose clever observational humor explores life as an Indian-American outsider in Minnesota. A
two-time ACME Funniest Person Contest finalist, he’s performed everywhere from Tokyo to Reykjavik using relaxed delivery and clever writing to captivate audiences.
Matthew Milligan is a Minneapolis based Stand-up Comedian. Milligan is the recipient of the 2025 House of Comedy’s Funniest Person award as well as a winner of several amateur loon calling competitions. Bringing his own unique look at the world in witty and sometimes dark comedy. He’s sure to bring a barrel of laughs. Like seriously an entire barrel.
KJ The Comedian is a veteran performer with more than 50 million online views, featured on BET’s Super Bowl Gospel Special, Fox’s Divorce Court, KJ brings an easy-going commanding presence and a knack for turning everyday life into hilarious stories.
