A veteran of the legendary Sound 80 Studios in Minneapolis, Monroe has recorded on major labels including Scepter Roadshow and H&L Records, and got his start as a lead vocalist with the Valdons — a celebrated Temptations-style vocal group formed during his service in the United States Navy.
