Clarinetist Tony Balluff and sousaphonist Erik Jacobson brought the Southside Aces together in the summer of 2003 with the desire to play the music of the old New Orleans dance halls. They now can look back at two decades of jazz festivals, swing dances, weddings, concerts, funerals—all the places New Orleans music can go.
