Featuring music by some of the great female artists of the 1960s!

Women on the Moon is a concert event that showcases some of our favorite female artists from the 1960s such as: Mama Cass, Tina Turner, Aretha, Cher, Dusty Springfield, Lesley Gore, Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, Dionne Warwick, Mavis Staples, Cher, Ella, Laura Nyro, Diana Ross, Barbra, Joni Mitchell, Nancy Sinatra, and the great Nina Simone. Some of the songs featured in the show include White Rabbit, Somebody to Love, Happy Days/Get Happy, Son of a Preacher Man, Me and Bobby McGee, The Beat Goes On, Woodstock, At Last, Mack the Knife … and MANY MORE!

Over the past four and a half decades, Lori Dokken has performed at every major venue in the Twin Cities from The Dakota to The Guthrie to The Ordway and Crooners. A sought-after accompanist, she is also a successful concert producer, educator, vocal coach, arranger, and vocalist. She has produced headline shows for cruise ships as well as local cabaret acts and has opened for legends like Eartha Kitt, Carole King and Tony Bennett. Lori has sung backups for Kenny Loggins and shared the stage with Beatrice Arthur.
