The Selby Avenue Brass Band and incomparable Thomasina Petrus on vocals have been performing together for over 10 years at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Selby Jazz Festival, Vintage Brass Band Festival, Crooner’s, Rondo Community Music Series, and multiple local and regional venues. It has been said that “Thomasina Petrus can outbrass a Brass Band”. Come hear for yourself as they perform funky street tunes, contemporary gospel, lush ballads, bawdy New Orleans hip shakers, swing, Latin, and plenty of original works by leader Tom Wells.
