Pianist Dan Chouinard and Prudence Johnson have been performing and writing partners since meeting in the late 1980s. In 1994 Prudence was Dan’s first guest on The Singer’s Voice, a weekly live-performance radio broadcast Dan hosted every Sunday night from the Dakota Jazz Club in Bandana Square, St. Paul. In their 35 years as collaborators they’ve recorded and performed together in concerts and theatrical shows across MN and the country. Most recently at Crooners they’ve presented The World According to Randy Newman and Bastille My Heart.
