A mixture of definitive soul and R&B ballads from the likes of Marvin Gaye and Barry White to the more contemporary sounds of Maxwell, Boyz II Men, John Legend, Blackstreet, and Jodeci. Sung by some of the city’s best-known vocalists and performed by an all-star band under the musical direction of Michael Bland (Prince, Soul Asylum, Chaka Khan, George Benson and Maxwell).
